Minivan Crashes Into Loganville Home; Family of 4 Displaced

No one was home when the vehicle left the road and hit the house on Temple Johnson Road.

No one was home when a minivan plowed into a Loganville-area house and caused extensive damage Monday.

Gwinnett firefighters responded at 10:56 a.m. Monday to the accident in the 1200 block of Temple Johnson Road. No one was home at the time.

It was unclear what caused the minivan to leave the roadway and crash into the house. The driver and a passenger were released by paramedics; they appeared to be uninjured, Gwinnett Fire PIO Capt. Tommy Rutledge said in an email.

The accident, which damaged the garage and kitchen areas, displaced a family of four, who were being assisted by the Red Cross.
