Motorcyclist Killed in Accident Near Loganville

A motorcyclist was killed in a Thursday evening accident on Bay Creek Church Road near Loganville.

The Walton County Georgia Emergency First Responders Network reported on Facebook that the accident happened around 8:26 p.m. between a motorcycle and vehicle, sending the motorcyclist to Clearview Medical Center.
The Georgia State Patrol said Steven Lee Freeman, 22, of Loganville was killed when a Cadillac Escalade struck his motorcycle while the Escalade was making a left turn onto Old Zion Road, Loganville Local reported. The Escalade reportedly struck the motorcycle head on.

Charges are pending against the driver of the Escalade, the state patrol said.
