Navy Veteran, U.S. Postal Clerk Passes Away
Harold Ragan, 83, was in the Korean conflict and was decorated with a Silver Star during his 34 years of service.

Harold Ragan, age 83, of Loganville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Rusty Ruark and Rev. Todd Milligan will officiate. Burial will follow at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Loganville.
A U. S. postal service clerk with 34 years of service, Mr. Ragan was an ordained Minister and a member of Loganville Baptist Church. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict, and was decorated with a Silver Star.
Mr. Ragan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is survived by: Wife: Mary King Ragan, Loganville; Daughter & Son-in-law: Elizabeth & Tony Bright, Monroe; Son & Daughter-inlaw: Paul & Debbie Ragan, Conyers; Son: David Ragan, Loganville; Son & Daughter-in-law: Phillip & Patsy Young, Covington; Brother: Bobby Ragan, Atlanta; Sisters: Loraine Bramlett, Eatonton; Mary Emma Goodwin, Atlanta; 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
