Police have identified the woman whose burned body was found Wednesday morning at a south Gwinnett County park.
Lauren Taylor, 26, of Dalton was found by a couple walking their dog in Deshong Park around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Gwinnett Police said in a press release.
The couple flagged down two officers to tell them they found the body on the sidewalk near the park’s pavilion.

Deshong Park is located at 2859 N. Deshong Road in unincorporated Stone Mountain within Gwinnett County.
“Details of the homicide are extremely limited at this time,” police said in the press release.
