“While we host job fairs at our career centers throughout the year, New Year New Job gives individuals looking for work the chance to connect with dozens of employers on a single day,” says Elaine Armstrong, director of public relations. “We’ve found that after the holiday season people tend to get back into the swing of their job search, so we created this event to give them a jump-start and to help area employers fill open positions at the start of the year.”

All 10 career centers (Athens, Atlanta, Cartersville, Decatur, Duluth, Oakwood, Rome, Smyrna, Stockbridge and Woodstock) will be participating in Wednesday’s event.
