Peachtree Corners officials say the restaurant received its building permit last week. The first order of business will be building a detention pond, so the building won't start coming out of the ground for a while, they said.

Established in 2002, Black Walnut calls itself contemporary American fast-casual.

"Whether you want an eggs benedict, coffee, dessert, martini, a hand crafted sandwich, certified Angus pot roast or an Asian tuna salad, we have it all," the restaurant's website reads.

Black Walnut will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
