  1. On Friday night, Walnut Grove High School is going neon for football! The varsity football team will be facing off against Madison County High School in Madison.   2. Members of the Loganville Police Department received a donation of $10,500 from David Sparks on behalf of the Masters Car Club.   3. FFA students from Walnut Grove High School, Carver Middle School, and Youth Middle school attended 95th National FFA Convention and Expo! Held in Indianapolis, the event recognized CMS and YMS as two of the Top Five finalists for the National Middle School Model of Excellence. CMS actually made the Top Three finalists in the category, so they are still in the running for the overall national title. The remaining honors will be awarded later this week.   5. The Clay Target Lions from Loganville Christian Academy Athletics did a great job at their recent rifle shooting competition. The team placed second in the AAA Division for the GIAA Qualifier, which was held at Old Hudson Plantation. Their next competition takes place on Saturday in Savannah.
