Park Springs Welcomes Angel Van Wye as New Member Coordinator
Angel Van Wye joins the Park Springs retirement community to assist new Members with the move in process.

In December 2015, Angel Van Wye joined the team at Park Springs as New Member Coordinator, assisting new Members with the move-in process into Atlanta’s premier retirement community nestled at the foot of Stone Mountain.
“My top priority is to make every move a pleasant experience,” says Angel, a licensed REALTOR® and Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist (CRTS) who previously owned Golden Legacy Moving, a company that specialized in downsizing and relocating seniors to retirement living.
“I have been personally involved with more than 250 moves to senior communities in the Atlanta area since 2008 – the majority to Park Springs,” she explains. “I am glad to say that new Members are often happily surprised to find out how easy it really can be to move to Park Springs!”

As Park Springs New Member Coordinator, Angel provides in-home consultation, helps with furniture selection and lay-out, assists with finding a moving company, and works closely with the Members and their family to coordinate the actual move. Another important part of her function is to help orient new Members to living at Park Springs.
“We offer so much right here on our beautiful 54-acre campus. We encourage our new Members to start taking advantage of the amenities, such as our fabulous Fitness Center, and to participate as soon as they’d like in the many clubs and social events that take place every week.”

Angel, who grew up in a Pastor’s home, cherishes her father’s wisdom. Henry Van Wye taught her the importance of being ministry-minded in everything she does, and that how she approaches every new day. Another one of his favorite sayings: “Do right because it is right.”
She moved from Illinois to Georgia in 1987, and currently lives in Loganville. A collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia, especially commemorative bottles, Angel also loves to sing gospel music and sang in a Southern gospel trio for 27 year. Today, she performs solo and also sings in her church’s choir. “Shine The Light” by Babbie Mason is one of her all-time favorites.
