Peachtree In Buckhead Shut Down Over Suspicious Package
BREAKING: Police were called Wednesday morning to a condominium complex where a suspicious package was reported.
UPDATE: The Atlanta Police Department bomb squad has determined the package to be non-hazardous and the scene has been cleared.
ATLANTA, GA — Peachtree Road in Buckhead was shut down Wednesday morning as police investigated a suspicious package.
Atlanta Police officer were called at 8:05 a.m. to 2881 Peachtree Rd., a condominium complex called The Phoenix on Peachtree. The department's bomb squad was on the scene, police said in a social media post.
