Police Bust Pot Smokers Parked on Secluded Street Near Tribble Mill Park
Inside Police Reports: One man was charged with possession and intent to distribute.

A Gwinnett County police officer found a group of young men allegedly smoking marijuana on a secluded street near Tribble Mill Park.
The investigation revealed one of the four occupants was carrying enough weed to land him in jail for possession with intent to distribute.
According to a police incident report, the officer was on routine patrol after sunset on Oct. 12 in the Great River at Tribble Mill subdivision. The officer noticed a car parked in a dark cul-de-sac, in an area where there are no houses or streetlights.

And there was a strong odor of weed being smoked.
One of the passengers told police the pot was his and gave police a small bag with green leafy substance that field-tested positive for marijuana.

After some more questioning, the man said there was more in his backpack. Substantially more marijuana and a digital scale were found.
In all, more than 83 grams (about 3 ounces) was confiscated.
Pete Tyndal, 20, was arrested and charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
