Police Respond to Grenade in Car Near Snellville: Updated
Sunday afternoon incident alarms area police, according to reports.

A grenade found at a Snellville area gas station was determined not to be a threat, according to the Gwinnett County Police.
Officers responded at 12:30 p.m. Sunday after a person was found asleep in a car at the gas pumps. Police were able to awaken the man, age 24, who was believed to have been under the influence of drugs at the time, according to police. He was arrested for unspecified charges.
The grenade was found while conducting an inventory of the car. It was unclear whether the grenade was a threat, leading to the Hazardous Devices Unit to respond, deploying resources that included a bomb robot.
