As Clark was leaving the bank, he was confronted by security guard Dale Taylor, 67, police said. A struggle ensued and Clark was allegedly stabbed in the abdomen by Taylor.

Clark, 29, fled the scene and was found by police 25 minutes later about a half-mile from the bank. Clark was sent to the hospital. His condition was not known.

Gwinnett Police spokesman Cpl. Deon Washington said in the news release that after preliminary investigation both men were charged with crimes.

Clark, who remains in the hospital, was charged with fourth-degree forgery.

Taylor has been charged with aggravated assault and was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail on April 23. He was released less than two hours later on a $2,950 bond.
