"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of Sugar Kneads Cakery ...," she wrote. "We wanted to take this time to share what a pleasure it has been serving all of you. Allowing us to share in your celebrations will be memories we will forever cherish."
Tomlinson's note invites customers to stop by the bakery, at 150 Athens Hwy. in Loganville, during the next two weeks which, she wrote, would be an emotional time.

"Prayers for our displaced staff are welcome but most of all we would love to see your smiling faces!" Tomlinson wrote. "We hope to see all of you here to share hugs and fond memories ... it will certainly help ease the pain. We consider all of you family and will sincerely miss all of you."
In a Facebook post, Tomlinson did not give a reason for the shop's closing, but called it "heart breaking."
"The few of us left are truly devastated, while warmed and grateful at the same time," she wrote.
Sugar Kneads appeared on "Cupcake Wars" in 2011, competing for $10,000 and the right to have their baked goods served at a Kentucky Derby event.
