- Atlanta's Alternative Rock Station "99x" is back! The beloved 90's station has revamped and returned to our city. The station launched with the original song that they launched with back in 1992, "Video Killed The Radio Star," by The Buggles. WNNX rebooted with its jockless format Monday at 6 a.m. so tune in for a blast from the past! (Inside Radio)
- Loganville City Council had its work session Monday evening, and there were several big items on the agenda including a commercial shopping center on Highway 78 and retail shops off of Highway 81. The public is invited to the voting session to be held on Dec. 8. (Monroe Local)
- Important reminder for Grayson students and parents that Dec. 6 will be designated as a Digital Learning Day as many Gwinnett schools will be used for voting for the runoff election. Don't forget everything your student needs for a successful digital day! Buses will be running from 10:45 a.m. to noon to deliver meals to students. (Gwinnett Citizen)
- The "Raising Resilience" campaign is displayed at Lenora Park in Snellville, a popular local park, and other Gwinnett County parks. In conjunction with Strong4Life, Live Healthy Gwinnett County, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, the Gwinnett County Parks department has posted QR Codes on signs throughout several county parks. - Loganville Red Devil Safety Nico Dowdell has become the first 2023 commit to Georgia Tech in the Brent Key era. Dowdell credits his commitment to the relationships he's developed and the education that Georgia Tech offers. He will be visiting Atlanta for his official visit this weekend. (Jackets Online)
- Who doesn't love Christmas Tree Farms? With the supply of pre-cut trees declining, here are 10 Atlanta area tree farms, and some are just a short drive from Loganville-Grayson. Not only do they offer an opportunity to choose a perfectly fresh tree, but many offer photos with Santa, hayrides, hot chocolate, and even petting zoos! Make sure to call ahead or check hours as most farms are family owned small businesses. (Atlanta on the Cheap)
- Grayson Rams 4-star Tight end and edge rusher, Kylan Fox will announce his commitment on Dec. 17. He has visited Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, Louisville, and NC State. (msn.com)
- The Loganville Red Devils Flag Football team remained undefeated moving into the GHSA Flag Football Final Four! The Devils took on Southeast Bullock High School at the Atlanta Falcons Training Facility in Flowery Branch on Monday afternoon with game being aired on GP TV. Unfortunately, they lost a close game to Southeast Bullock High School. Congrats on your Final Four appearance! (Facebook)
- On Dec. 3, U.S. Marshals announced that they caught a Gwinnett County child sex offender and international fugitive in Mexico. Brad A. Hatter had been on the run for 5 years after being convicted of multiple crimes. He is now back in U.S. custody. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
