"Richard Martinez, in his Grief, is Being Used as a Political Whore For the Gun Control Lobby"

   Losing one's child to a deranged person is unthinkable to most of us. However, the gun control lobby is milking this man's grief for all it's worth. You don't hear it mentioned that 3 people were also KILLED BY THE SUSPECT WITH A KNIFE. No, all you hear about is the gun. And it is the Gun Control Lobby promoting this to the hilt! And millions of people are too Stupid to see that! THOUSANDS OF GUN CONTROL LAWS ARE ALREADY ON THE BOOKS. California is the most gun restrictive state in the US. And did all of those laws in California prevent the killer from getting a gun? Absolutely Not! Will any more laws prevent a criminal from getting a gun, knife, machete, bomb? Hell No!! No one can predict when someone is going to go off the deep end and do something like this. If anyone dropped the ball, it was the cops. What arrogance to believe that by passing a law that restricts a law abiding citizens' right that you will prevent another mass tragedy. On August 1, 1966, Charles Whitman, a former Army sniper climbed the bell tower on the University of Texas campus and began to engage and kill students, staff, citizens from 0 to over 500 yards away. 18 were killed, 30 were wounded. After he was killed, it was discovered during Autopsy that a BRAIN TUMOR was pressing on the part of his brain responsible for aggression. DID ANYONE DO AN AUTOPSY ON THE SANTA BARBARA KILLER TO SEE IF THIS MAY HAVE BEEN THE CASE? INSTEAD OF ATTRIBUTING IT TO "MENTAL ILLNESS"?
