Severe Storms Possible Monday: Where and When
National Weather Service warns of some wet weather and thunderstorms in Loganville, Grayson and elsewhere in North Georgia.
Afternoon thunderstorms have threatened so many evening plans of late. And, they’re back.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a chance of scattered thunderstorms in the area Monday afternoon and Monday evening.
“The best chance for thunderstorms will be across north Georgia this evening and tonight and a few storms could become strong to severe, mainly between 6 p.m. this evening and 3 a.m. tonight, and generally north of a Buchanan to Gainesville line.”

The current forecast suggests a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms in Loganville-Grayson tonight, according to the NWS. Rainfall may be up to a quarter inch, but higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.
