Sewage Spill Dumps Nearly 9,000 Gallons In Snellville
The sewage spill, into a local creek, was reported at about 11:20 a.m. and stopped at about 1:05 p.m.

SNELLVILLE, GA — A spill in Snellville on Wednesday dumped nearly 9,000 gallons of sewage into a creek.
The spill happened at a manhole behind 2607 Lenora Church Rd. It was reported at 11:20 a.m. and the overflow was stopped at 1:05 p.m.
County water officials say the cause of the 8,895-gallon spill was grease. It entered a tributary of No Business Creek.

The Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources placed signs letting residents know of the spill and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division was notified.
