Activity date: February 27, 2015 – March 05, 2015
Zone 1
Suspicious Vehicle – A silver SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango reportedly drove through the parking lot of a business on Hwy 81. Vehicle reportedly drove through the parking lot three times.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Ashland Farm Rd. and Cannon Farm Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest – Augustus Curry was arrested for Driving with License Suspended following a traffic stop on Hwy 138.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Cannon Farm Rd. and Old Hwy 138. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Zone 2
Arrest – Matthew Nowlan was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Related Objects at a business on Hwy 278. The arrest was the result of a suspicious vehicle complaint.
Agency Assist – Walton County Deputies assistance was requested by Monroe Police Department in area of Lacy St. with large crowd.
Fraud – Subject at a residence on Squirrel Hollow Rd. reportedly was contacted by an audio recording advising he was going to be sued by IRS. Extra Patrol was also requested by subject on Squirrell Hollow Rd. during the daytime hours due to dirt bikes and ATVs riding in the roadway.
Zone 3
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Snows Mill Rd. and Powers Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Theft – A fireless cooker was reportedly stolen from a residence on Old Monroe Madison Hwy. Incident occurred during the night hours of 02/27/2015.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Good Hope Rd. and Gene Bell Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Prowler – Someone was reportedly knocking on a window and attempted to raise the window at a residence on LaVista Dr. Area checked. No contact.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Harry Arnold Rd. and Jim Daws Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest – Joseph Brownlee was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the area of Harmony Church Rd. and Pannell Rd. following a suspicious vehicle complaint.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Unisia Dr. and Monroe City Limits. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Jones Wood Rd.and George Laboon Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arest – Cherie Lackey was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Harry Arnold Rd.
Zone 4
Theft Report – Morphine and Lortabs were reportedly taken from a residence on Mountain Creek Church Rd.
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Bradley Gin Rd. Residence checked. Everything okay.
Prowler – Subject at a residence on Parklake Court reportedly heard someone attempting to make entry to her residence. Area checked. No contact. Extra patrol requested.
Burglary – Eleven chainsaws, a weed trimmer and a deer stand were reportedly taken from a garage at a residence on Phillips Dr. Incident occurred within the last two weeks.
Burglary – A Hi-Point 380 was reportedly stolen from a residence on Elizabeth Dr.
Arrest – Mark Willingham was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Tanglewood Dr.
Loud Music – Loud music was reported in the area of Spring Hill Ct. No contact.
Identity Theft – Subject’s information was reportedly used to get a school loan at a residence on Apalachee Trl.
Burglary – Door at a residence on Fairview Dr. was reported busted in. Unknown what was taken. Incident occurred between hours of 10:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on 03/02/2015.
Burglary – Two black male subjects wearing masks reportedly pointed a gun at subject that was checking on a residence on Fairview Dr. and told subject to leave. Walton County Deputies responded. Residence checked. Negative contact. Suspects later arrested that were involved in this incident.
Attempted Burglary – Someone reportedly attempted to kick in a back door at a residence on Fairview Dr. Nothing was taken.
Suspicious Person – Two black males reportedly dressed in black reportedly knocked on subject’s door at a residence on Parker Dr. twice within fifteen minute time frame. Subject did not go to the door. Extra patrol requested. Suspects later arrested that were involved in this incident.
Arrest – Tevin Ridgeway and Traontavious Cooper were arrested for burglary. This is in connection with the burglaries in the Green Acres area.
Zone 5
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on N Cross Lane. Residence checked. Everything okay.
Stolen Vehicle – A 2006 KTM 400 EXC was reportedly stolen from a residence on Double Springs Rd.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bold Springs Rd. and Charleston Ave. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest – Mary Wooddell was arrested for Driving with a Suspended License in the area of Hwy 81 and Watson Mill Dr.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 and Forest Falls Dr. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Maple Creek Dr. Everything okay.
Theft Report – Two pieces of mail was reportedly stolen from the mailbox at a residence on Bold Springs Church Rd. Incident occurred between hours of 9:00 a.m and 10:30 a.m.
Speeding Auto – Subjecst are reportedly mud bogging in area of Rockmore and Bay Creek Rd. Shoulder of roadway is reportedly being damaged. This usually occurs just after sunset. Extra Patrol requested.
Pedestrian Accident – Subject was struck by a vehicle in the area of Etchison Rd. and Nancy Way. Accident handled by Georgia State Patrol. Subject transported to Athens Regional.
Theft – Subject at a residence on Roscoe Davis Rd. believes his one year old, female, Pitt Bull Terrier was stolen. Dog has been missing since 02/28/2015.
Zone 6
Stolen Vehicle – Between the hours of 7:15 p.m. on 02/26/15 and 5:30 a.m. on 02/27/15 a 2005 Ford F250, black in color was reportedly broken into and stolen from Southern Pointe Automotive on Hwy 78. A front window was reportedly busted out.
Stolen Vehicle – Between the hours of 7:15 p.m. on 02/26/2015 and 5:30 a.m. on 02/27/15 a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, beige in color was reportedly stolen from Southern Cross Motors on Hwy 78.
Burglary – A door was reportedly kicked in at a residence on Tucker Dr. Assorted jewelry and tools from the garage were reportedly stolen. Incident occurred between 02/15/2015 and 02/27/2015.
Accident – An accident occurred on McCullers Rd. No injuries. Accident was handled by Georgia State Patrol.
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Governors Cir. Residence checked. Everything okay.
Arrest – David New was arrested for Violation of a Temporary Protective Order at a residence on Maple Ct.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested at a business on Hwy 20 due to vehicles parked outside of the fence.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Green Rd. and Centerhill Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check at 6281 Hwy 81. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Shaquasia Williams was arrested for Driving while Unlicensed as a result of the safety check.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol requested on Hwy 81. Vehicles are reportedly not stopping for school bus when stop sign is out. This reportedly occurs between the hours of 6:35 a.m. and 6:50 a.m.
Arrest – Tabitha Hobgood was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Morgan County at a business on Hwy 20.
Arrest – Ashley Hedenberg and Brandon Greenwalt were arrested for DUI in the area of Hwy 78 and Alcovy River.
Arrest – Courtney Hogan was arrested for Driving while License Suspended in area of Atlanta Hwy and Gwinnett County Line following a traffic stop.
Suspicious Vehicle – Walton County Deputy observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Rabbit Farm Rd. and Rabbit Farm Circle while patrolling. Contact made with driver. Subject advised he was looking for places to rent.
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Rabbit Farm Rd. Residence checked. Everything okay.
Arrest – Johnny Brown was arrested for Simple Battery following a dispute at Loganville Christian Academy.
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 20. Business checked. Everything okay.
Zone 7
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Cotton Ln. Residence checked. Everything okay.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Guthrie Cemetery Rd. and Guthrie Crossing. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Entering Auto – A vehicle was reportedly entered at a residence on Atha Woods Dr. Multiple items were reportedly taken.
Stolen Vehicle – A green, 1998 Dodge Ram was reportedly taken from a residence on Nunnally Trace between 03/05/2015 at 6:00 p.m. and 03/06/2015 at 4:20 a.m. Vehicle has front end damage, bone collector sticker on the windshield and loud exhaust.
