Activity date: December 17, 2014
Zone 1
Entering Auto – An unlocked vehicle was entered while parked on Red Oak Bend. Several items were taken from the vehicle, including a Bible.
Entering Auto – An unlocked vehicle was entered on McKayla Court. Items were reportedly taken from the vehicle.
Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on McKayla Court in the Southern Oaks subdivision. Items were reportedly taken from the vehicle.

Nothing to Report.
Zone 3
Chase – Jessie Lyle Brooks jumped out his vehicle and ran after a traffic stop on Hickory Drive. The subject was not located. Several charges are pending.
Suspicious Person – A male subject attempted to get inside a vehicle while it was stopped at a stop sign on Lavista Drive on Laboon Rd.
Zone 4
Trespassing – Suspicious subjects were observed on a property on Partain Rd.
Zone 5
Extra Patrol – A white Chevrolet pickup truck was observed speeding in the area of Bold Springs Rd. and Paul Burson Rd.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Shiloh Rd. in reference to vehicles not stopping for school buses.
Suspicious Vehicle – A full size van was observed driving up and down the roadway on Double Springs Church Rd.
Damage to Property – The front door to a residence was damaged on Alton Green Rd. A suspect has been named.
Zone 6
Damage to Property – A subject reportedly struck an object in the middle of Highway 78 near Troy Smith Rd., causing damage to the vehicle.
Theft – Copper wire was taken from an outbuilding at a business located on Highway 78.
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Miller Bottom Rd. at Flagstone Way. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made.

Burglary – Forced entry was made into a residence on Kathleen Lane. Several items were reported missing from the residence.
