CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Zone 1
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Alcovy Station Rd. and Jersey Covington Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Arrest – Abraham Gomez was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Hall County in the area of Hwy 81 and Walnut Grove Elementary.

Zone 3
Burglary Report – Several tools were reportedly stolen from a residence on Peters Cemetery Rd.

Suspicious Vehicle – A male and female subject were found in the area of Indian Creek Rd. and the bridge at the wood line at a very late hour. They were advised to leave the area.

Unstable Person – A white female was located walking in the roadway in the area of June Ivey Rd. and Ivey Dr. Female was released to her grandfather.

Found Property – A book bag with a bloody knife inside it was found on Cedar Ridge Rd.

Entering Auto – A 1996 Honda Civic was reportedly entered at Waverly subdivision on Winding Grove Ln between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Wallet, cash, debit/credit cards and Nike shoes were taken.

Entering Auto – A 2012 Honda Odyssey was reportedly entered at Waverly subdivision on Winding Grove Ln between 10:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. A Michael Kors purse, debit/credit cards and cash were taken.

Entering Auto – A 2011 Kia Optima was reportedly entered at Waverly subdivision on Winding Grove Ln. Cash was taken from the center console.

Entering Auto – A Chevrolet truck was reportedly entered at Waverly subdivision on Winding Grove Ln. A set of jumper cables was taken.

Arrest – Cathy Sizemore was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on North Sharon Church Rd.

Accident – A single vehicle accident occurred in the area of Hwy 78 and Cown Rd. The accident was handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Arrest – Marcus Best was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Winding Grove Ln.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Pointer Rd. and Wellesley Dr. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Area Check – During a routine area check 11 vehicles were found with their hoods up and batteries missing at the Peach State Auto Auction.

Zone 7
Arrest – Travis Baker was arrested for Possession of Marijuana less than an ounce, Possession of Drug Related Objects and Possession of Schedule IV drugs at a residence on Church Way.
