CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: April 23, 2015 – April 26, 2015

Zone 1
Animal Complaint – A lady at a residence on H D Atha Rd. has been chased several times by neighbor’s pit bull. Deputies and Animal Control warned neighbors they would be cited if they had to return.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 138. Business checked. Everything okay.

Zone 2
Suspicious Person – Male subject was found walking down Preston Rd. Several complaints received from neighbors in the area of the subject trespassing. Subject was turned over to family.

Zone 3
Safety Check - Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Harris Cemetery Rd. and Hwy 186. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Damage to Property – Subject at a residence on Gene Bell Rd. reported damage to his vehicle after striking some mailboxes. Accident scene was handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Domestic – Christina Hall was charged with Battery and Cruelty to Children.

Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested at TLC Transmission due to a dispute and threats made on Friday, April 24, 2015.

Arrest – Corey Fenn was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County at a residence on Locklin Cemetery Rd.

Accident – A black cow was hit by a vehicle in the area of Pannell Rd. Several owners of cows in the area were notified.

Theft Report – Three subjects were found on the property of a residence on Mt. Paron Church Rd. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Tools were reportedly discovered missing.

Theft Report – A well pump was stolen from a residence on Turkey Mountain Trail.

Zone 4
Safety Check - Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Shoal Creek Rd. and Perry Smith Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. One arrest was made for Driving while License Suspended as a result of the safety check.

Loud Music – Loud music was reported in the area of Navaho Trl. Area checked. No contact.

Arrest – Enrique Rodriquez was arrested for DUI drugs and Possession of Marijuana less than an Ounce in the area of Hwy 11 and Louise Dr.

Theft Report – A cell phone was stolen from a bag that was beside subject while sun bathing at a residence on James Huff Rd.

Zone 5
Trespassing – Two deer stands were reportedly found on property off of Hwy 81. Case referred to Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

Suspicious Vehicle – Subject driving a black, 2000 Dodge Durango was found parked in the back of Providence Club Subdivision. Subject was asked to leave and not be at the park after dark. Extra patrol requested in the area.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Paul Burson Rd. Residence checked. Everything okay.

Accident – Single vehicle accident in the area of Grady Smith Rd. Walton County deputies handled accident scene.

Theft Report – A weed eater and edger were reportedly stolen from the garage of a residence on Glenview Ln. Incident occurred sometime last winter.

Theft Report – Multiple household items were reportedly taken from a residence on Hwy 81 between 7:00 a.m. on 04/23/2015 and 8:30 p.m. on April 24, 2015.

Burglary – Table saw, chemicals, John Deere lawn tractor, Jon Boat and scrap metal were stolen from an outbuilding at a residence on Etchison Rd.

Zone 6
Hit & Run Accident – A hit & run accident occurred in the city limits of Loganville. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the accident. Arrest made for DUI, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Open Container X2 and Failure to Yield while Turning Left.

Arrest – Michael Blakeman was arrested for DUI, Failure to Maintain Lane and Open Container in the area of Hwy 78 and Youth Monroe Rd. following a traffic stop.

Arrest – Joshua Phillips was arrested for an outstanding warrant and for No Drivers License in the area of Milton Bryan Dr. and Claude Brewer Rd. following a suspicious vehicle complaint. The vehicle Mr. Phillips was driving was also reported stolen out of Dekalb County.

Zone 7
Theft Report– A 5 gallon jug of loose change and a black, Bersa 380 automatic pistol were stolen from a residence on Wagon Trl.

Arrest – Brandon Mead was arrested for DUI following striking another vehicle in Newton County, leaving the scene then entering into Walton County.
