CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT
Activity date: May 29, 2015 – May 31, 2015
Zone 1
Arrest - William Joseph Hill was arrested for Possession of Schedule II Drugs, Possession of Schedule IV Drugs, Prescription Drugs not in Original Container, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Giving False Name and Probation Violation following a welfare check at a residence on Paul Smith Rd.
Accident / Juvenile Complaint – Two juveniles at a residence on Wapakoneta Trl did extensive damage to the inside of the residence, stole the family truck and later wrecked on Monroe Jersey Rd. Both subjects injured and transported to Athens Regional. Georgia State Patrol handled the accident.
Theft Report – A North American Arms .22 caliber pistol was reportedly stolen from a residence on Cannon Court. Incident occurred sometime in the last two weeks.
Trespassing – Two subjects were reportedly trespassing on property on Leone Ave after being told to stay off of the property. Subjects were issued criminal trespass warnings.
Found Property – A Smith & Wesson M&P .40 caliber handgun was reportedly found lying in the roadway in front of a residence on Shepherds Crossing. Gun placed into evidence at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
Zone 2
Entering Auto – A vehicle was reportedly entered on Knox Circle. A Glock 23 .40 caliber handgun was reportedly taken from the center console. Incident occurred sometime between May 25, 2015 and May 31, 2015.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in the area of Old Good Hope Rd. on the gravel/dirt portion in reference to speeding vehicles.
Zone 3
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol requested in area of Evergreen Dr. and Clearwater Way in Clearwater Estates in reference to possible gang activity. The Crips gang is possibly bullying/enticing young people in the neighborhood.
Juvenile Problem - Juveniles were reportedly riding ATVs in the roadway in the area of Randolph Still Rd. No contact with any juveniles. Contact was made with a parent on Randolph Still Rd. Parent advised juveniles were riding in pasture behind his house and not in the roadway.
Arrest – Brandi Hirko was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the area of Jones Woods Rd. and Indian Creek Rd. following a traffic stop.
Arrest – Zackary Riddle was arrested for DUI and other traffic violations in the area of Hwy 78 and Jacks Creek Rd. following a traffic stop.
Arrest – Dylan Kendrick was arrested for Disorderly Conduct at a residence on Barton Bridge Rd.
Loud Music – Loud music reportedly in the area of Jones Woods Rd. and Morgan County Line. Area checked. Wedding party inside Morgan County.
Arrest – Rodriguez Bush was arrested for an outstanding warrant, Obstruction, Suspended License and Speeding in the area of Hwy 78 and C&D Landfill following a traffic stop.
Zone 4
Arrest - Matthew Nix was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Clarke County on Summerset Ct. in Summerset Subdivision.
Theft Report – Firewood was reportedly stolen from a residence on Emmett Still Rd. Contact was made with subject that stole firewood and he stated he would return the firewood.
Burglary Report – The back door to a residence on Fairview Dr. was reportedly kicked open and multiple items taken.
Loud Music – Loud music reported in the area of Gratis Rd. and Monroe City Limits. Area checked. No contact.
Zone 5
Suspicious Person – Subject reported a white male driving a white, Honda Accord was reportedly taking pictures and videoing her while she was walking in the neighborhood on Bullock Dr.
Loud Music – Loud music reported in area of Hwy 81. Area checked. Birthday party in the area. Subjects finally shut the party down.
Suspicious Person – Resident owner reported a subject was reportedly on the side of the road in the area of Cedar Ridge Rd. staring at her residence.
Disturbing the Peace – Subject on Oakridge Ter in Richmond Place Subdivision was hosting a party without parent’s consent.
Zone 6
Trespassing – Four male subjects trespassing at the Rock Quarry. Subjects were escorted off the premises.
Suspicious Person – Subject found at Quicks Corner on Claude Brewer Rd. Subject stated he was emptying trash from his truck. Subject instructed to leave the property.
Suspicious Person – A white male approximately 50-60 years of age reportedly knocked on the door of a residence on Winding Grove Trail and requested to take pictures of the residence.

Damage to Property – Subject reported damage to her vehicle from something flying off a truck that was in front of her in the area of Hwy 20 and Creekwood Trl.
Trespassing – Four juvenile subjects trespassing at the Rock Quarry on Annslee Ln. Subjects given criminal trespass warnings.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at Peach State Auto Auction. Gate discovered open. Business checked. Gate secured. Everything okay.
Suspicious Vehicle – Subject on Green Ave. reported a brown, passenger car with an unknown female driver reportedly drove past his residence on Green Ave. and pointed what was believed to be a firearm at him and drove off.
Juvenile Problem – A juvenile took parents vehicle and wrecked it on Kent Rock Rd. Juvenile issued multiple citations and was turned over to parents. Accident was handled by Georgia State Patrol.
Zone 7
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol requested in the area of Nunnally Farm Rd. in the 1900 block in reference to speeding vehicles.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol requested in the area of Nunnally Farm Rd. in the 1500 block in reference to speeding teenagers in 4x4 trucks doing donuts in pasture and almost hitting persons walking. This reportedly occurs in the area between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
Found Property – A wallet was reportedly found at Dollar General on Hwy 81. No contact could be made with subject that wallet belonged to. Wallet was left on location at the store.
Entering Auto – A vehicle was reportedly entered on Sage Ct. A .22 caliber Taurus pistol was taken.
Arrest – Roger Crowe was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County.
Arrest – Billy Hester was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Gilmer County.
Arrest – Steven Strawhun was arrested in Brookview Manor Subdivision for Drag Racing, Underage Consumption, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, Too Fast for Conditions and Duty Upon Striking a Fixed Object.
Accident – Subject drove into a house on Kent Rock Rd. causing substantial damage to the house. All passengers fled the scene and were later apprehended. Georgia State Patrol handled the accident.
