CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT
Activity date: January 29, 2015 – February 1, 2015
Zone 1
Arrest – Kayla Farmer was arrested for under the Family Violence Act.
Suspicious Person – A subject reportedly knocked on the bedroom window then ran into the woods at a residence Amber Lane. Area checked. No contact made. Extra patrol was requested for the area due to this incident.
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 138. Deputies met with the key holder. Everything okay.
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Hillside Trc. Residence checked. Everything checked out okay.
Zone 2
Arrest – Mario Jones was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Victory Dr.
Arrest – Vaurnice Malcom was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Lacy St.
Entering Auto – A vehicle was reportedly entered and tools and plumbing supplies were stolen from a residence on Amber Stapp Studdard Rd.
Arrest – John Hathaway was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Branham Circle.

Nothing Reported.
Zone 4
Theft Report – A theft report was made at a residence on Tommy Dillard Rd. Subject reported three necklaces and a pink Taurus 380 was stolen.
Zone 5
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Mystic Dr. Residence was checked. Everything checked out okay.
Entering Auto – A landscape truck was reportedly entered at a business on Lee Byrd Rd. Power tools were reportedly stolen from the vehicle. This incident occurred between 1700 hours on 01/29/15 and 0600 hours on 01/30/15.
Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Hwy 81 and Forest Falls. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Bobby Gunn, Jr. was charged with DUI and Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Christopher Miller was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Open Container and Possession of Alcohol by Minor as a result of the safety check.
Suspicious Person - A subject reportedly knocked on the door then ran into the woods at a residence on Carl Davis Rd. Area checked. No contact was made.
Suspicious Person – Two male subjects were reportedly seen behind a residence on Clairmont Ct. Area checked. No contact.
Zone 6
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested at a business on Hwy 20.
Arrest – Jeremy Collins was arrested for Driving with a Suspended License as the result of a safety check in the area of North Sharon Church Rd. and Green Rd.
Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Rosebud Rd. and Escoe Dr. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. One arrest was made for Underage Alcohol Consumption as a result of the safety check.
Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Miller Bottom Rd. and Flagstone Way. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest – Joshua Brooks was arrested under the Family Violence Act.
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 78. Business checked. Everything checked out okay.
Arrest – Jeffrey Scott Edmondson was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Mockingbird Ln in the City of Loganville.
Zone 7
Entering Auto – A vehicle was reportedly entered at a residence on Brookstone Estates. A Ruger Snub Nose 38 caliber double action with laser sights was reportedly stolen. Incident occurred on 01/24/15.
Arrest – Doug Eller was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County at a residence on Brandi Ln.
Arrest – Terry Gay was arrested under the Family Violence Act.
Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted four safety checks throughout the county. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Five arrests were made as a result of the safety check.
