Here are the top stories today in Loganville-Grayson:

1. A shooting at the Barrow Crossing Shopping Center, in Bethlehem, over the weekend, resulted in one injured person, but the condition and identity of the victim is unknown. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the shopping center. Details were not available, however, officials did confirm that a suspect is in custody. (Monroe Local)
2. The ex-cop, charged with the kidnapping and murder of 16-year old, Susana Morales, is now also facing burglary charges for stalking and breaking into a former classmate's home. Elesha Bates, who has known Miles Bryant since 5th grade, says that she reported the break-in to Doraville Police and Gwinnett County Police, but the case was dismissed because of a "lack of leads." The investigation was reopened for her case, and more charges have now been brought against Bryant. (Fox News)
3. Charges have been brought against Manuel Ramirez for tampering with evidence and possession of pistol/revolver by persons under 18, in connection with the shooting of 13-year old Jaeden Travis. No murder charges have been filed, yet, in connection with Travis' death. Harold Travis, Jaeden's father, says that his son had already had an altercation with the boys that came to his house on the day he was shot. Gwinnett police say that Travis left the house to confront the boys with a BB gun, but they had a real gun, and he was shot in front of his father and died at the hospital a short time later. • We all scream for ice cream! Butter'Dudder ice cream shop has just opened in nearby Monroe. The shop serves up "premium, hand-crafted ice cream" at it's Monroe Pavilion location. Butter'Dudder uses fresh and local ingredients to create seasonal flavors, and they serve fresh baked goods too. Visit the new shop Tuesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Monroe Local)
• On Feb. 23, deputies responded to a fire on Mote Road, in Covington, and the resident, Melvin Cooksey, was missing. Witnesses reported seeing a white hatchback leaving the scene shortly before the fire. Mr. Cooksey is paralyzed on his left side, and he has not been seen or heard from since last week.
