So What's Next for Loganville's 'Voice."
Popular Loganville teen country singer Jordan Rager didn't make it out of the battle round of NBS's "The Voice" on Monday.
Fans tuned in Monday hoping to see student move on to the next round in NBCβs βThe Voice,β but it was not to be. The popular teen country singer didnβt make the final cut that would have allowed him to move on to the live rounds. But Rager was still upbeat about the whole experience.
βI learned that your plan doesnβt always line up with Godβs plan,β he said. βI wanted to go farther in the show than just the Battles, but God had a bigger plan so Iβm just gonna go along for the ride.β
Rager said despite not getting to participate in the live rounds, just being chosen and making it as far as he did has helped advance his career.

βDoing the show has been an incredible blessing for my career. My Twitter & Facebook numbers show that,β Rager said. βJust since the first of February, when Season 2 started, my fan base following has grown 400 percent as of today! Β Being on 'The Voice' was great exposure for me and it gave me credibility Β - and for that part I want to thank NBC & βThe Voice.ββ
So whatβs next? For the LHS student that would be finishing up his senior year.

βGraduation is first and foremost β then I will follow my music career full time,β he said. βThis year is going to be big for me. Got a lot of huge things coming up in 2012 so yaβll keep with me cuz I ainβt slowin down just yet.β
His proud parents are prepared to be with him, every step of the way.
"His daddy and I could not be more proud," said his mother, Connie Rager. "We have seen him mature as a person and an artist and it makes our hearts happy to watch Jordan get to do what he loves and is passionate about. Ultimately, we would love to see Jordan with a record deal and touring, because that is his heart's desire.
This up-and-coming country star's parents believe that will happen, "when it's time."
