Teen Killed In Loganville Parking Lot Fight

Witnesses said a group of teenagers had been fighting in the parking lot of a neighborhood park.

LOGANVILLE, GA — A teenager was shot and killed Saturday during what witnesses described as a fight among teens in a Loganville neighborhood's park area.

Gwinnett County Police arrived at 5:50 p.m. at the 4600 block of Grove Lake Street to find Jacquorrius Madison, 19, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The location is a parking lot for the neighborhood's pool and tennis area, police said.

EMS transported Madison to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

A 911 caller told authorities that a group of teens had been fighting in the area.

Investigators are continuing to work the case. Information on motive and suspects is not being released at this time, according to the police department.
