Teens Critically Injured in Webb Gin House Road Crash

Speed was a factor in the single-vehicle wreck, but alcohol was not, police say.

GRAYSON, GA -- A teen driver was ejected from her car and two of her three teen passengers were critically injured Monday night in a single-car wreck on Webb Gin House Road.

Ashlyn Boyd, 17, of Lawrenceville, was driving her Honda Civic too fast on Webb Gin House Road, near Arbor Court, at about 10:30 p.m. when she lost control, police say.

According to a Gwinnett County Police incident report, she drove off of the right side of the road, then over-corrected, sending the Civic all the way to the other side of the road, where its front passenger side hit a tree.
