A Gwinnett County Sheriff's deputy gets a hand written note from a thankful neighbor.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA β€” Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department Corporal Zach Braswell received a thank you note recently from his elderly neighbor for a kind act.

"Corporal Zach Braswell didn't hesitate to assist an elderly neighbor who fell at his mailbox a few weeks ago," reads a post on the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Facebook page. "His neighbor hasn't forgotten the kindness and was kind enough to send Cpl. Braswell a note of thanks. We're always proud to hear stories about the good things that our deputies do, both on duty and off! Good job, Braswell."

"Dear Zack, Thank you for helping me when I fell at my mailbox last Thursday, March 1st," reads the letter. "I don't know what I would have done without your and Richard's assistance. Crawled to my car? Your kindness was most gracious and very much appreciated. I would like to buy your breakfast or lunch if we could meet somewhere at your convenience.
