Spring! It’s finally here and there is a lot going on this week in Grayson!
We’re in the final preparations for Grayson Day – which is going to be BIGGER than ever. We’ve expanded the festival to create more opportunities for around 200 vendors! Look for the entertainment schedule to be posted soon – but for sure, there will be music and dancing throughout the park! The stage will be set up in the field next to City Hall as part of our festival expansion; bring your chairs and be prepared to be entertained!
Let’s talk Make-A-Wish. The Grayson community has come out in overwhelming support for OUR children who are on the recipient list for Make-A-Wish Georgia! It is truly humbling to experience such a generous outpouring. You can still get your bracelets and stars all around town – our outlets include The Beverage Superstore, local schools, McDonald’s, Salamandra’s, Southern Sisters, The Hail Mary Sports Pub, the UPS Store, City Hall, and we’ll be at the Grayson Farmers’ Market again this week. We have so many excellent sponsors for Making Wishes Come True ... look for the list of these community partners soon!

Hungry for a good cause? Salamandra’s, will be hosting Make-A-Wish night on Monday night (April 14th) with proceeds going to the Grayson efforts and The Hail Mary Sports Pub will host Make-A-Wish night on Tuesday night (April 15th). Other restaurants will be joining in on the fun in coming weeks, so stay tuned on the Get Into Grayson Facebook Page.
And don’t forget the Wednesday night Farmers’ Market. Now that the weather is warmer and the days a bit longer, more vendors are setting up their tents in Grayson Community Park for the market. And dinner has never been better served than straight off the truck with seating under the pavilion.
