Unsolved Homicide: Gwinnett Police Seek Answers 1 Year After Drug-Related Shooting

It’s been one year since the shooting death of Antonio Macklin and Gwinnett detectives are still looking for answers.

The case is still unsolved. Gwinnett County Police homicide detectives are soliciting the help of the public for information about the homicide,” police said in an email.

Macklin, 35, was shot to death in an apparent drug-related robbery around 1 a.m. on May 20, 2014 at 4407 Haynes Circle in unincorporated Gwinnett County near Snellville and Loganville.

Witnesses said two or three unknown males wearing dark camouflage entered the home and brandished guns. A struggle reportedly took place between the victim and the suspects when the victim was shot. The suspects fled the scene after the shooting.
