LOGANVILLE, GA — The Walton County Sheriff's office shares incidents of interest with the public.
Here are some of the calls the sheriff's office handled recently in the Loganville area.
Tuesday, April 18
Arrest — Garland Conley was arrested at a residence on Highway 81 for Aggravated Assault following a dispute.

Scam — Deputies took a report at a residence on Dove Drive in reference to an unknown caller contacting complainant and claiming they won $9 million and requesting personal information in return.
Fraud — Deputies took a report at a residence on Tom Brewer Road in reference to an unknown individual making a duplicate copy of complainant's debit card.

Fraud — Deputies took a report at a residence on Sara Court in reference to an unknown individual making charges on complainant's account.
Monday, April 17
Scam — Deputies took a report at a residence on Stock Gap Road in reference to an unknown caller trying to sell complainant a type of drug called GHB (Gamma-Hydroxybutyric Acid).
Juvenile Problem — Deputies responded to a residence on Morgan’s Ridge Drive in Morgan’s Ridge subdivision in reference to several juveniles ringing the doorbell to the residence and running before someone answered the door and moving several items outside residences. Deputies made contact with the juveniles and their parents. Juveniles parents made them go around and apologize to the victims and situation was mediated.
Arrest — Andrew Gaddis was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and New Hope Church Road for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and Possession of Drug Related Objects following a traffic stop.
Theft — Deputies took a report at a residence on Highway 20 in reference to an unknown individual taking items from the residence.
Arrest —David McHann was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and Centerville Rosebud Road for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.
Arrest — Melissa Brown was arrested in the area of New Hope Church Road for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County following a traffic stop.
Sunday, April 16
Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 81 and Bentley Road. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Fire — Deputies assisted Walton County Fire Department with an abandoned vehicle fully engulfed in flames on the side of the road in the area of Youth Monroe Road. Deputies attempted contact with vehicle owner, but were unsuccessful.
Citation — One motorist was cited in the area of North Sharon Church Road and Johnson Road for Reckless Driving following getting their vehicle stuck in a mud pit.
Saturday, April 15
Entering Auto — Deputies took a report at a fire department on Heritage Parkway in reference to an unknown individual breaking out complainant’s vehicle window. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Arrest —Thomas Connely and Ashley Harrison were arrested in the area of Highway 11 and Bold Springs Road following a short vehicle pursuit with Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies. Thomas Connely was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Improper U-Turn, Fleeing to Elude and Driving Without a License. Ashley Harrison was arrested for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County.
Safety Check — Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 11 and Bold Springs Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. One motorist was cited for Driving While Unlicensed and Child Safety Restraint Violation (x3).
Arrest — Preston Latimer was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Gun Creek Church Road for an outstanding warrant out of Hall County following a traffic stop.
Safety Check — Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on North Sharon Church Road and Yorkshire Court. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Hector Ebrego was arrested for Driving While License Suspended.
Friday, April 14
Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 11. No injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Extra Patrol — Extra patrol was requested in the area of Highlands Boulevard in The Highlands subdivision in reference to an ongoing issue with vehicles speeding and not stopping at stop signs in the area.
Identity Theft — Deputies responded to a residence on Annslee Lane in Annslee Lakes subdivision in reference to an unknown individual opening several accounts in complainant's name.
Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 20. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
