Watch This Female Clerk Fight a Gun-Wielding Robber
The Georgia convenience store clerk was being robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning.
KEYSVILLE, GA -- It’s almost hard to watch. But, amazingly, a Georgia convenience store clerk captured on video fighting with an armed robber not only escaped uninjured, but she ends up chasing the would-be robber away.
The video, released by the Burke County Sheriff’s office, shows an armed robbery attempt that happened at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday, reports WRDW-TV in Augusta.
The suspect, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, walks up to the counter of the store and pretends to buy a soda, only to then pull a handgun on the woman working the register.

Almost immediately, she starts fighting back, even though the gun is leveled at her and only inches away.
She slaps the handgun, trying to take it from the male attacker, slaps him in the face and, eventually, hits him in the head with the cash register tray before grabbing a hammer.
