"Why I Don't Give Money To Charities"

I am old enough and have had enough life experiences to understand that many if not most people cannot be trusted with other people's money. Politicians have proved this, Churches, the United Way was in a scandal several years ago, HSUS executives are building their life of luxury with their low IQ donor's money, Hurricane Katrina where millions upon millions of dollars were donated and millions were squandered by those in charge. Investment bankers and money managers, Dekalb county councilmembers and the list goes on and on. Now the news media is saying that the story about this little girl who was turned away from KFC for a disfiguring dog bite is a Hoax. People have already contributed over $100,000 to her family. Then there is the Murderer who left his child in the car to roast for 7 hrs. Thousands of people went on FB to demand his release and donate money to him BEFORE they knew all of the facts. The police are saying now that the man KNEW his child was in the car and left him there. The allow their emotions to dominate them and are incapable of thinking the issue thru and waiting for all of the facts to come in. I am continually amazed and never disappointed at the people who rush to donate money to an organization or disaster without checking the business out first. As far as disasters, Obama gonna take care of em' so we don't have to. Plain and simple, I do not Trust other people with My money. Sure, I have to use a bank and invest for my retirement but you better believe I check them out before I allow them to have my business. What I do donate to charity is clothes, old cars that I do not need anymore and that is about it. Everyone has their hand out these days and anyone who is loose with their money in one area of life is probably so in the other areas.
