The Pink Affair, Held in Dunwoody, Marked the First Sellout in the Event's History with More Than 300 in Attendance

The 2015 Annual Pink Affair, benefiting the non-profit TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, was held Saturday, March 21, at the Retreat at Perimeter Summit in Dunwoody. This year’s event was one of the most successful in the event’s 14-year history, thanks to the fact tickets sold out a full week before the event. More than 300 people attended. This year’s event marked the first time the Pink Affair was held in the Perimeter area. Ashley Franks gave a moving speech about her battle with breast cancer and the impact TurningPoint has had in her journey. A diverse lineup of more than 90 items in the silent and live auctions were well-received. The band Masterpiece played great music the final two hours of the event. Some highlights in the live auction included tickets to the Ellen DeGeneres Show, a behind-the-scenes tour to the NBA studio show on TNT, Sea Island Cloister getaway with ues for a 2015 Audi for a week, a Chef’s Table experience for six at Seasons 52.. The charity’s next fundraising event is the Tourney for TurningPoint at the Dunwoody Country Club August 30-31.  That event will include a dinner, golf outing and auctions!
