
With a new owner and a new name, Morris & Raper Real Estate Consultants has generated a large portfolio of bank owned property, secured on-site sales with developers and builders and has assembled a top notch management team along with a group of seasoned real estate agents.
“We’ve seen incredible success and growth in just five months,” said Susan Fessler who purchased Morris & Raper Intown in November and recently changed the name to Morris & Raper Real Estate Consultants.
“We’ve strategized to capitalize on the current real estate market by putting builders back into business. We are working with hedge funds and capital groups to help builders get financing and collaborating with banks to market homes with reset pricing,” Fessler said.

Since November, Morris & Raper Real Estate Consultants has secured listings at a number of developments throughout the Atlanta area. The company has been assigned a large portfolio of 91 homes and more than 600 home sites by the Bank of America trustee. The company is receiving 60 to 80 calls a week from signage within these communities resulting in 25 or more showings each week. “We are converting these leads into contracts weekly,” said Susan Fessler.
Another big project is providing on-site marketing for the final phase of 31 townhomes at The Preserve at Fischer Mansion, a community created around a historic mansion on Chamblee-Dunwoody Road. The property is being developed by Waters Edge Group.

Fessler has assembled a team of experienced real estate professionals to help guide the company’s growth. Christa Huffstickler, Vice President of Sales is focused on condominium developers, asset managers, working on high-rise, mid-rise and future developments.
Suzanne Spivey, Vice President of Sales is focused on builders, communities, developers and bank relationships for managing their REO assets. Greg Williamson, a top-producing Agent on the resale/general brokerage side of the company, manages, mentors and assists with recruiting agents for the company. Greg also leads the Bank of America team with Christine O’Neill and Tim Mullins.
In recent months, the company has attracted nearly a dozen experienced real estate agents and is recruiting more agents to help maintain the company’s growth.“We are heavily recruiting experienced agents and we’re getting calls from agents who want to work with us because of all the activity,” Fessler said.
The company is working with Chandler New Hope Builders to market homes at White Horse Creek in Flowery Branch and Preserve at Briscoe in Snellville.
Homes in the Bank of America portfolio, selling at reset prices include Estates at Nash Lake, Newbury Oaks and Langley Farms in Gwinnett County; Highlands North, Macland Township, Victoria Heights, Berkley Trails and Arbors at Silver Trail in Paulding County; Slater Mill in Douglas County; Fairington Club Condos, River Vista Estates and Miller Park in DeKalb County. On the Southside, the company is marketing Landings at Mundy’s Mill, Conley Forrest, Flint River Estates, Patriots Point, Southfield Station, Terraces at Union Pointe and Oakley Station, all with new pricing.
The company is planning a Grand Opening meet-and-greet event for builders, developers, bankers, clients and others in the real estate market on May 12 at the Mayfair Renaissance courtyard.
