Fogo de Chão promotes a ancient-old cooking method of churrasco in which meat is marinated before a rapid sear over high, direct heat. This is usually done on a skewer on an open flame, or on a blazing hot grill or cast-iron skillet.

Diners at Fogo de Chão can partake in filet mignon, beef ancho, wagyu porterhouse, beef ribs, top sirloin, chicken with a peri-peri seasoning, Chilean sea bass, smoked salmon, spicy pork sausage and lamb chops.

Side dishes include garlic mashed potatoes, caramelized bananas, polenta and cheesy rolls made from yuca flour and parmesan cheese.

The menu at Fogo de Chão also features lobster macaroni and cheese, crispy yuca fries, roasted bone marrow and black truffle butter.

Weekend brunch is traditionally offered, and Fogo de Chão has a rewards program, a seasonal market table and online ordering.

Group dining, gift cards and catering are among its amenities. Fogo de Chão offers reservations.

Aside from Georgia, the restaurant operates locations nationally in Texas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Florida and California to name a few.

International sites include Ecuador, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Bolivia - and of course, Brazil.
