Atlanta Watershed Sheds Employees During Internal Probe
The City of Atlanta and the Atlanta Police Department are both investigating the troubled Atlanta Department of Watershed Management.

An internal investigation into theft and mismanagement at the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management progressed on Friday with the termination of 13 employees, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The investigation into alleged thefts, middle management bullying, and other crimes is the latest stain on the department, which has been under scrutiny ever since city leaders discovered hundreds of thousands of dollars of city equipment missing from department facilities.
Professional Association of City Employees (PACE) Atlanta President Gina Pagnotta-Murphy said she was glad allegations by employees were finally being looked into, but was also sad for the employees who had been terminated during the course of the investigation.
