Atlanta's Chief Bicycle Officer Becky Katz to Speak at Young Professionals in Transportation Event Sponsored by TSW March 3

TSW is sponsoring a "Meet and Greet" for YPT (Young Professionals in Transportation) and guests to meet Atlanta's new Chief Bicycle Officer.

TSW, a Midtown-based architecture, planning and landscape architecture firm (www.tsw-design.com), is sponsoring a “Meet and Greet” for YPT (Young Professionals in Transportation, www.yptransportation.org/chapters/atlanta/), and guests Thursday, March 3. The gathering will be held at Hudson Grille, Midtown, 942 Peachtree St., Atlanta, GA 30308 from 6-8 p.m. Atlanta’s new Chief Bicycle Officer, Becky Katz, will speak at 6:45 p.m. on “Biking in Atlanta”. The event is free for YPT members and $10 for non-members.

As Atlanta’s first-ever Chief Bicycle Officer, Katz is working to involve the community in planning bike accessibility projects. She oversees the city’s developing bike-share program and works in partnership with the Georgia Department of Transportation and other agencies to improve Atlanta roads and help accomplish the city’s goal of creating 120 miles of bike paths or lanes.
