CareSource Presents $10k Check to Chattahoochee Tech Foundation

CareSource Establishes the F.O.C.U.S. Scholarship at Chattahoochee Technical College with a $10,000 Gift

ATLANTA -- CareSource, Georgia’s first and only nonprofit managed care organization serving the Medicaid population in Georgia, presented a $10,000 gift to the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation today. The gift will be used to establish the F.O.C.U.S. Scholarship at Chattahoochee Technical College (CTC) as part of the CareSource CTC Student Support Program.

CareSource and Chattahoochee Tech Foundation will create two $1,000 scholarships for qualified applicants who are enrolled in Special Populations Services or the Governor’s High Demand Career Initiative Program.

Through CareSource’s innovative JobConnect program, advisors will work closely with CareSource members within the CTC’s Special Populations. This collaboration will include an opportunity for CareSource members to receive coaching sessions on CTC’s campus, CTC students to connect with a life coach and have individualized and group coaching, and access to CareSource’s employer partner network.
