Chick-fil-A Begins Rollout of Apple Pay
The Atlanta-based fast food chain is the latest to offer Apple's iOS-based payment system to its customers.

ATLANTA, GA -- Chick-fil-A announced this past Friday that it has begun offering Apple Pay to the first of its customers.
Plans are to have the system up and running in all of its locations by the end of this year, according to Atlanta Eater.
The iOS-based payment system can be used with the restaurant’s own Mobile Pay technology, which is available through the company’s app.

The move is widely seen as Chick-fil-A’s strategy of appealing to younger consumers. Recently, the chain dropped its popular cole slaw menu item in favor of a kale “Superfood” side item that was developed by Chef Ford Fry.
Last month, Restaurant Business ranked Chick-fil-A as consumers’ favorite chain, topping Firehouse Subs, Papa Murphy’s, McAlister’s Deli and Seasons 52.
