MIDTOWN, GA - From Colony Square Midtown: In conjunction with the 136th annual Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade and fourth annual 5K, Midtown’s Colony Square will host “Luck of The Square” on Saturday, March 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Before the festive soiree kicks off, the community is invited to gather at Colony Square at 10 a.m. to cheer on hundreds of 5K participants as the race starts and finishes at the mixed-use destination’s corner of 14th and Peachtree Streets.

At 11 a.m., lads and lassies are invited to revel in Luck of The Square’s Irish fun and grab a spot to enjoy premier parade views before the spectacle begins at 12 p.m. As the parade ends, Colony Square will continue bringing the “luck of the Irish” to the heart of Midtown, as the Front Loop (off of Peachtree Street) transforms into a St. Patrick’s Day party zone featuring live music, festive beer and fare, family activities for all ages and more.

In addition, the Big Idaho Potato Truck will be rolling through Midtown during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade as part of its 8th national tour, and Colony Square is offering a chance to win a ride during “Hot Potato on The Square.” On Friday, March 15 from 12:30 to 1 p.m. in Colony Square’s valet circle, the community is invited to play an ol’ fashioned game of Hot Potato. The winner and a plus-one will have the opportunity to ride the world’s largest potato on wheels in the parade on Saturday.
