Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance Brings "Teal Trot" to Piedmont Park
Annual 5K Fundraiser Moves to New Midtown Location, Celebrates Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance is hosting its ”Teal Trot 5K” for the first time at Piedmont Park on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. The fun-filled walk/run, open to the public and presented by Northside Hospital, celebrates, honors and remembers gynecologic cancer survivors and patients, their families, caregivers and friends. Ovarian cancer survivors and patients walk for free. Otherwise, the fee is $35 to attend. Proceeds from the event will support GOCA’s statewide education and outreach programs.
