ATLANTA -- The women who are accusing Katt Williams of attacking them in Midtown want the comedian to face felony charges.

Loletha Hale, a Jonesboro-based attorney who is representing the women, says the incident began when Selena Boston and her friends saw Williams and asked to take a photo with him.

One of Boston's friends then began filming Williams, at which point Williams allegedly started fighting with the women, leading his security team to get involved. The women say Williams punched Boston and took two of their cellphones.

The women say Williams became verbally abusive when one of them said that comedian Kevin Hart was funnier than Williams.

But according to Williams, the women were harassing him and taking photos without his permission, and snatched a chain off his neck, which started the fight.

Police arrived and handcuffed Williams but no arrests were made.

The day after, Williams was arrested in Gainesville after an employee of Leslie's Pool Supplies told police the comedian punched him. Williams was released on $5,700 bond.
