Kroger Offering Reward to Find Murder Suspects
An Alabama man was shot and killed outside a Kroger in Midtown earlier this week.

Kroger is now offering a $25,000 reward for information which will lead police to the people who shot and killed a man in the parking lot of the Kroger on Ponce de Leon Avenue on Tuesday.
According to WSB-TV, Josh Richey of Hayden, AL was killed in an attempt to protect his work truck, which had been broken into. As Richey banged on the glass of the truck to get the attention of the suspect inside, the suspect pointed a gun at him and fired through the glass. The bullet struck Richey in the chest, killing him.
Richey’s work partner Jason Shelton said he saw the suspect get into a black BMW with tinted windows, but was unable to see the license plate as the car fled.
