CareSource, Georgia’s first and only nonprofit managed care organization, presented La Amistad with a check for $2,500 as a part of the People’s Choice Grant Awards.

Since 2010 the CareSource People’s Choice Grant Awards have been an employee driven investment into the nonprofits that are closest to their hearts. CareSource team members are given the opportunity, each quarter, to nominate, vote on, and ultimately award grants to their favorite nonprofits. Since the initial call, $445,000 have been invested into nonprofits of our employee’s choosing.

“La Amistad is a vital program for the Latino community in Atlanta,” said Bobby Jones, president of the Georgia market for CareSource. “We are honored to present the $2,500 People’s Choice Grant Award to help fund the important educational services that the organization provides to the local community.”
