LifeLine's Fulton County Shelter Needs Emergency Foster Homes!
And meet our perfect Pets of the Week, Bronn who adores kids, Wisteria who is all about snuggling and Hope who is calm and loves to smile!
LifeLine Animal Project's Fulton County Animal Services shelter took in 934 animals in July and is out of space. We are are urgently seeking emergency foster homes (short or long term) to save lives.
The shelter has hundreds of wonderful pets who deserve to make it out alive and into loving homes, but that won't happen without the community's help. Please consider opening your home up to a foster pet for as little as two weeks to help alleviate overcrowding and save lives!
All foster parents will receive a starter pack of food, a dog crate and other pet supplies. To sign up to foster a pet, please visit LifeLineAnimal.org/foster. To view animals available for adoption, please visit LifeLineAnimal.org/adopt-a-pet or visit FCAS at 860 Marietta Blvd NW. Why not consider fostering or adopting one of the wonderful pets below?

Fulton County Pets of the Week: Bronn, Wisteria and Hope
Bronn is sweet to everyone, including men, women, kids and other dogs. Whether he’s walking on the Beltline, shopping at The Home Depot or hiking some of Atlanta's best trails, this boy does great in all environments. Bronn would be perfect for anyone wanting a playful dog who also knows when it is time to relax. He was recently taken out through our “Dog for the Day” program, and here’s what the volunteer said about him: “Bronn is good with other dogs, even the loud yappy ones, and is a total love bug. He loves to snuggle and is good on a leash. He enjoyed calmly watching birds at a coffee shop, and every time a child walked by us he stood up, wagged his tail and was delighted when they pet him. He also did great when I gave him a bath, and would do well in any home. I’ve taken out my fair share of dogs from the shelter, and Bronn is at the top of my list!”

Wisteria is a beautiful, brindle love bug who enjoys snuggles and belly rubs. This sweet girl is very smart, curious and interested in everything that is going on around her. She gets along great with other dogs, and when she is not busy playing with them or rolling around in the yard, she enjoys going on long walks and hikes. She is learning how to be a good leash walker and listens well when she is corrected. All she needs is some praise and love, and she’ll do whatever you ask. How many people can you say that about? Come meet Wisteria and add bring some joy into your life!
Hope is only one year old, but her calm demeanor and soulful eyes make her seem like an old soul. This gal’s main interests are pleasing people and receiving affection. Ever the yogi, Hope will sit serenely at your feet with a smile on her face and a wagging tail as you rub her head and tell her how pretty she is. And when you invite her onto your lap for more cuddles, her smile will get even bigger and her tail will wag even faster! If you want to smile a lot more on a daily basis, come meet Hope and let her brighten your life today!
