A man who identified himself as a bodyguard for boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr., was shot early Monday morning in an attack on a motorcade carrying Mayweather to an upscale hotel in Buckhead, according to police.

Hospital CEO, ER Director Illegally Dispensed Painkillers: Feds
Three people, including a former CEO of a north Georgia hospital and that facility's ER director, have been indicted on federal charges of illegally prescribing thousands of doses of prescription painkillers outside their normal course of practice, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Georgia said.

Meth Labs, Stash Houses Involved In Gwinnett Drug Bust
Ten members of an alleged methamphetamine trafficking operation that sought to distribute more than $1 million worth of drugs have been indicted in a 13-count superseding indictment on charges of violations of federal drug, firearm and immigration laws.
