Atlanta-Filmed "Containment" Premieres Tuesday Night

A new TV series filmed in Atlanta debuts Tuesday night.

"Containment," which premieres at 9 pm on The CW, includes familiar sights from around the city, including the Centers for Disease Control, Atlanta City Hall and the state capitol.

The series is based around the premise of a sick Middle Eastern man who enters an Atlanta hospital and contaminates a doctor, according to the AJC. The patient is released but the doctor gets very sick, while he is at large, possibly spreading the sickness.

The series was developed by Julie Plec, creator of "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals."
