Over 2,000 Without Power in Midtown Area
Georgia Power officials have not estimated when power will be restored to the affected customers.
Over 2,000 Georgia Power customers on the edge of Midtown are without power Tuesday night after severe weather plowed through the city of Atlanta.
According to the utility company’s outage map, 2,310 customers in the vicinity of the Ansley Golf Club were without electricity as of 11:15 p.m. Tuesday. The outage map had not been updated to list a time that power would be restored to the area.
There are some 22,000 customers without power as of 11:18 p.m. Tuesday, the outage map reports.
