Pop Up Box Office Debuts in Midtown

The new service launched on Tuesday at Colony Square.

ATLANTA, GA -- North American Properties (NAP) and The Woodruff Arts Center have partnered to launch a pop-up box office at Colony Square.

The box office, inspired by New York City’s TKTS model, will sell discounted day-of tickets ($20) to shows and events at Alliance Theatre and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Colony Square guests can look forward to surprise performances and cultural activations from local organizations.

Located in Colony Square’s retail center at Concierge, the opening of the pop-up box office kicks off on Tuesday, March 8 at 11 a.m.

The pop-up box office will open regularly Tuesday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In addition to the discounted day-of tickets, the box office will sell regular admission tickets to Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and The High Museum of Art.

Since its acquisition of Colony Square in December, NAP invited the community and industry experts to help reimagine the property. In response to feedback, NAP has developed ongoing partnerships with several local organizations that drive awareness and support of Atlanta’s cultural programming.

As an additional example, Colony Square is collaborating with Dashboard, Atlanta Film Festival and Protect Awesome to host “Jack,” a dance performance by three international, formally trained dancers, on March 11 at 8 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at http://www.dashboard.us/jackatl/.
